Cut The Mustard
We want to create a gourmet "make your own sandwhich" station. That means artisan breads, flavorful greens, scrumptious spreads and layers like you wouldn't believe. Do you know the makings of the perfect sandwhich? Know a cheese that's sure to please? Like to layer it on thick? Send us your sandwich recipes! We're looking for inspiration that will make our stomachs growl. Tell us what ingredients get your mouth watering.
It Seams We Have A Problem
I wanted to use my grandmother's wedding dress. However, it's nothing like what I was hoping for. It has a medium-sized train, long, puffy sleeves, a high neck, and a sweetheart style breastline with lace between the shoulder. I want to shape it into a ankle-legnth, slim-waist, cap sleeve wonder. I looked into the cost of having a professional seamstress do it. Unfortunately, the cost for the mere consultation was more than that of a new dress off the rack. Anyone have fashion designer/sewing skills they'd like to lend? I'd appreciate any help I can get on this. Even if you just have ideas on other ways I can use the fabric and notions from her dress. Using her dress in my wedding is one way we'll be paying tribute to ouloved ones who have passed.
